Sanjiv Eastment
I am a 16 years veteran tea planter having previously worked in McLeod Russel for 12 years in both South bank and North Bank tea gardens of Assam Valley. I have spent almost equal time in the field as well as the factory. I am a third generation planter on my Mother’s side and a second generation planter on my Father’s side. So it would not be a miss to say that tea runs in my veins. It’s often said that tea is not a job but a way of life and if so I am in love with my job. I am fortunate that in tea I am still able to enjoy my hobbies – sports and travelling. I am an avid cricketer, footballer and enjoy tennis and golf. I love travelling and exploring places, especially on my motorcycle. I treat my team as my family and enjoy watching them learn, grow and reach their potential. Moreover I believe that the workers are the most important assets of an organization and we should take utmost care of our assets. My aim is to always have a positive impact in their lives and try to leave a memorable and lasting legacy behind.
